Introduction

Metaphysics is about learning,  To simply exist is no life.  We as a group must evolve as a group learn our lessons love our nature, forgive those around us that wish to do us harm or do not understand what their actions are causing. for us all,  One person at a time,  There are dozens of sayings to encourage us to tackle the biggest problem of all cleaning up our own problems.   Your nature problems are not your own, You can help them out by wisdom, or a helping hand but you cant solve their problems for them.   and if they choose to continue doing the destructive path they are on then help clean up their  mess and hope there is someone else to help you when you cannot clean up your own mess

           ENERGY WORKING

How to work energy,  Begin by forming a thought on what you are trying to accomplish.  Then set aside time to concentrate and focus on what you are going to create with the energy you are sending out.

The ability to work energy is in the ability to believe you can.  If you believe you can then you and the same applies to the opposite.  The basics of working with energy is that you have a personal energy vibration that when focused on can affect other energy vibrations,     People like Alexander the great, Caesar,  Marilyn Monroe just to name a few have all had  vibrations that lit up a room.   And received everyone attention.

            LAY LINES

A lay line is a line of energy that extends from one energy point to another.  Existing 2 to 3 hundred feet above the earth.  They are there to increase the energy flow of the area that they are around.  When you attain the knowledge on how to tap into them you can begin working with all the lay lines of the planet.

With the increased ability to work with lay lines you can connect directly to lay lines and be a connector to a lay line, working with them and increasing the amount of energy that is available in whatever area you are in.

Lay lines are lines of energy that circle the globe maintaining a constant circulation of energy and a constant flow of life.

Divination:  This is the ability to focus oneself into first seeing, then reading the fabric of time.   Through action, the energy we all give off living our life in this realm translates into the fabric of time.  Learning to read variations and find out what your actions will bring about is the reason behind divination devices.   The device gives us in body the ability to understand the action-reaction of our life.

This is a bit of a terms and what they mean but this is more along the avenue of determining what the words themselves mean.

Lessons of  the different forms of world religion

go  thought and explain the differences in between craft styles.

 The Basics

In the Craft there are as many different forms of working with energies as there are people/ cultures on this planet.    In this article there are explanations of some of the more widely known forms know to the European cultures.   Several of the listings below are the result of combining the traditions philosophies and the experiences of several cultures into one understanding.    The After affects of this combining has the affect of creating off shoots of the original mix.

The basic cusp of any religion is its ability to work with and move the energies of your surroundings, and the begins with which come to share the teachings.   The philosophy of the religion is designed to give the conscience mind a focus point the ceremonial traditions are for the spirit , and the community interaction is the body to interact with those of like mind

Candle Magic  works on the principle of working with the elements of air and fire to create an energies for the caster or the person had intended by placing the energies vibrations in thought forms in the center of the candle.  As the candle burns this produces a dramatic increase of energies for the specific subject.   it is possible to do candle magic with not such dramatic results and simply cast for the item, the benefit to working with a candle as apposed to doing

Building specific Skills and Talents The idea of building your own specific skill and talent brings about the entire purpose of this article.

Magical is manipulation of different forms of energy.  Invoking is not a bad thing

Energy working very serious but do not mess wit it unless you know what you are doing.

Circles - there are benefits both ways.   W/ circles , you can change with and keep energy in unwanted things out.  Circle can act as safely valves.  Solitary you can keep a low profile

maximums efficiently use of energy

lay lines in the south , out the north 70 of the time

working wit grids is different than any other style.   Energy grid working is like riding a bicycle.  There must be balance .  Just as important , you need to learn to walk first with energy working you not only need to learn to walk with the energy but how to recognize and read natural grids as well grids can come in different shapes as well as squares or hex for example lay lines can be rigid of loose fixed height or go thought mountains with grid work you never invoke no ego its not you r power so do not get cocky.  Gaia may ask things of you work as directed do not misuse the power.  Gaia can show you the read use of powers.

Psychic
A person who can acquire information using ESP, or use psychokinesis
(PK) to affect objects; some psychics also claim to have healing
abilities. Generally, psychic ability is either present from birth,
or triggered later in life by some traumatic physical or emotional
experience.

Psychic Archaeology

The use of psychic skills to locate
dig sites and identify artifacts.
Using psychometry, the psychic can
receive clairvoyant impressions
relating to objects and photographs;
dowsing, retrocognition (seeing into
the past), automatic writing and
remote viewing have also been used to
identify optimum dig sites and channel
information from dead spirits and other
entities.

Perhaps the first, best-known case of
applied psychic archaeology was
Frederick Bligh Bond's use of automatic
writing in the excavations of the ruins
of Glastonbury Abbey in England. Bond,
an architect, was appointed by the
Church of England in 1907 to find the
remains of two chapels, both of which
had been destroyed during the reign
of Henry VIII. Bond used the services
of his friend John Alien Bartlett,
who was an automatic writer, and
together they invoked spirits
associated with the abbey to help
locate the chapels' ruins. Bond
received information in Latin and
Old English, as well as drawings,
from an entity who identified
himself as 'Gulielmus Monachus', or
'William the Monk'. The monk, plus
other spirits, provided details of the
Edgar and Loretto Chapels. In the
ensuing excavations, Bond found
everything exactly as the spirits
had indicated. He did not reveal
the source of his success until 1917
with the publication of his The Gate
of Remembrance. Angered and embarrassed,
the Church of England forced Bond to
resign in 1922, when excavations were
stopped (see Glastonbury).

Since the 1970s psychic archaeology has
been used to find dig sites in North
America, Egypt, and elsewhere. Although
some researchers claim high and reliable
success rates with psychics, others have
conducted experiments with wrapped and
unwrapped artifacts that demonstrate
that psychic archaeology is unreliable.

Psychic Criminology

The use of psychics in the investigation
and jury selection of civil and criminal
cases. This controversial technique has
grown in the decades following World War
II due to the publicized successes of
various celebrity psychics. The primary
technique is psychometry, handling objects,
such as discarded weapons or the belongings
of victims, and sensing their 'vibrations',
which can provide information to help solve
the crime.

Throughout history seers and dowsers have
been sought out to help locate missing
persons and solve crimes. Psychic detection
was used in Europe during and after World
War I. In 1925 Sir Arthur Conan Doyle,
creator of Sherlock Holmes, predicted that
the detectives of the future would be
clairvoyants or would use clairvoyants. By
the latter part of the twentieth century,
hundreds of psychics were working regularly
with police in the United States, Britain,
and Europe, though their success was erratic.
Police departments remain divided over the
effectiveness of psychics. Some make regular
use of selected individuals and have
established written procedures for doing so;
others feel psychics make no difference in
solving cases. Departments that do use
psychics often are reluctant to admit it
publicly.

Psychic Reading

A session with a psychic or medium in
which psychic ability is used to answer
a client's questions. Most people seek
psychic readings for information about
the future, communication with departed
loved ones, and divination for finding
missing persons and objects.

Such services have been rendered by
psychically gifted people since ancient
times. A typical reading lasts for thirty
to sixty minutes. Fees vary from voluntary
contributions of a nominal sum to high
professional rates charged by famous
psychics.

The methods used in psychic readings vary,
the most popular being tarot, numerology,
psychometry, palmistry, and channeling.
Another widely used method is scrying,
in which the psychic gazes into a crystal,
mirror, other reflective surface, or flame.

Wicca or Witchcraft?

     Smiling Panther's Den     |   home

Wicca or Witchcraft? Many newcomers don't realize that there are some very key distinctions between the two terms. Because of those distinctions, the terms are not always interchangeable. Many authors on the subject have helped blur the line between them in the minds of their readers over the years, resulting in the terms often being used incorrectly.

The vast majority of the books available today which claim to be about "Wicca" actually deal with Witchcraft or Eclectic Paganism. Anything which advocates solitary practice is not dealing with Wicca. This does not by any means suggest that a solitary path is any less valid than practice within a group. Many people, myself included at this time, practice and enjoy a solitary path. I also am not suggesting that nothing useful may be gained from these books, as will become quite clear in looking over my suggested reading on the subject  Wicca & Witchcraft. So what are the distinguishing features between Wicca and Witchcraft?

One clear, simple way to compare Wicca and Witchcraft is this:

      Pagan > Witchcraft > Wicca

      just as

      Christian > Protestant > Baptist

Witchcraft is a fairly broad term. Some use it to refer to any and all practice of Magick. Some use it to refer to their own personal system of beliefs and practices as a religion in and of itself. Others refer to it as a "technology" which may or may not be incorporated with religious practices. Some systems of Witchcraft are heavily influenced by Ceremonial Magick, some not so much, being based more on Natural Magick (sometimes referred to as Low Magick or Green Witchcraft).

Wicca is actually a very specific form of religious Witchcraft. It is a lineaged, initiatory, duotheistic Mystery Tradition. In other words, two deities are worshipped (The Lord and The Lady/God and Goddess) and one must be initiated into a coven by a Priest or Priestess of Second Degree or higher. There is no "self-initiation" into Wicca, despite the word of many popular books to the contrary. In fact, a quick glance at the word "initiation" in the dictionary will show that the very idea of self-initiation in any context is contradictory:

From Webster's Encyclopedic Unabridged Dictionary of the English Language, 1996 edition -

Initiation  1. formal admission or acceptance into an organization or club, adult status in one's community or society, etc. 2. The ceremonies or rites of admission. Cf. rite of passage. 3. the act of initiating. 4. the fact of being initiated.

Wicca was founded by Gerald Gardner. As the founder of the religion, he defined the religion and its tenets, with a good deal of help from Doreen Valiente. There are several Traditions of Wicca which splintered from Gardnerian. However, they retained the majority of the core tenets and beliefs, including lineaged initiation. They remain Mystery Traditions, in which much of the core material is held as oathbound secrets, released  gradually at points in the individual's development and advancement.

Eclectic Wicca, Solitary Wicca, Celtic Wicca......all oxymorons. Eclectic Pagan, Solitary Witch, Celtic Pagan.....valid terms. When you change the core tenets and beliefs of a religion, it ceases to be that religion and becomes something else. Lineage and oathbound teachings are such core tenets within Wicca.

There's a lot of information out there. Some of it good, some of it bad, some of it questionable at best. Sorting through it isn't always easy. This, above all else in my opinion, is the major pitfall of solitary study. It takes time, patience, and the willingness to step back and rethink things from time to time when better information becomes available to you.

Terminolgy Guide to Understanding

What I want to put here is Ok, If I am talking with someone and I start to use words they do not understand.  Or use words and teh meanings that I am using they are not familiar with.   Like athome, well instead of me trying desperately to go back and constantly explane myself.  I can point them to this area and the word automatically comes up with a brief sentence, or small paragraph of information on that subject.  as well as different spellings, as well as different pronunciations.

Which is the beginning of a overall dictionary, well that is not a bad idea if you think about it.   so start to put
