Arc of the covenant

The Ark was a box with the dimensions of two-and-a-half cubits in length, by one-and-a-half cubits in heights, by one-and-a-half cubits in width (a cubit is about 18 inches).

45 inches length, 27 inches high, 27 wide

90 inches

The arc was supposedly created by Moses after he took a walk up mnt Sinai an came down with the plates written by god. Upon returning to his people he discovered they had reformed the ancient monotheistic bull/calf ceremonies of pre-Pharaonic Egypt. Being angered beyond belief Moses is said to have thrown the god made tablets into the mount they created for the bull/calf. Soon after a box of above dimensions was created out of the bull/calf and the framework it sat on to hold the broken pieces of the god made tablet.

The descendants of Moses used this box or arc as a vessel to carry the power of god with them. Holding it at the front of their armies. The film raiders of the lost arc is a fictionalized account of finding this very item; the hero of the film trying to keep the box and its contents away from the soon to be superpower NAZI regime. The arc is said to have mystical powers, no army in the world could stand against any culture how possessed the arc.
