·         A think tank

o   A closed continuity loop eco system

§  A closed continuity loop ecological system; all previous attempts ended in failure of the basic definition. They could create a closed loop ecosystem but the continuity loop is something all the theories failed to produce. My theories can and will produce the continuity required for proper applications. Why my theories are based on the basic rules of atomic construction; push push, pull pull, neutral, size, shape, density, voltage, etc.

o

o   I want to put together a think tank in Ogle Castle for the express purpose of creating a closed continuity loop eco system (reference; biosphere 2, using accurate theories).

o   Why Ogle castle. Ogle castle provides several key variables in order to achieve success with developing and seeing to production fruition of the various ideas created through the think tank.

§  I chose Ogle Castle because it is part of my heritage. My paternal great grandmother was Helen Ogle of Tiffin, Ohio. I am a direct descendant of De Ogle, 1000. Who was deeded the land by William the Conqueror. The Southern Welsh created a map and poetic stories about the Yr Hen Ogledd (Ogle) family dating to no later than 400 ce. The Ogles have a very long history of being thinkers and action oriented family.

§  More on the Ogle family

§  Ogle Castle has always been an area of agriculture. Kirkley Hall was built by the Ogles and now serves as an agricultural college.

o   Why the UK..

§  Royal lineage; for those that are descended from Royal blood lines the just that little bit of trust from the sociological perspective of royalty are leaders who can achieve great things if allowed/backed with proper support. Purchasing Ogle castle allows for a small portion of that built in sociological trust to be carried over to the ideas generated.

§  Sociological infrastructure has tendencies to be more open and inviting to new innovations. Occasionally in America waves of “great awakening times” occur. When they do they are marked by a profound drop in all technology but specific types. Those specific types of technology are what the society wants the most according to pleasure and defensive/offensive to keep people safe. Other than those two fields all technology research and development is removed or is cut back to a non-threatening level.  The UK on the other hand has had a long history of innovation and the society as support tendencies.

§  Research into electro-magnetics has been at times the most controversial research any society, scientist, or institution can invest into. Primary reason, unless the laboratories and scientists are using accurate measuring devices; the entire process can get away from them and cause indefinable accidents. Scientific laboratory experiments when they go wrong produce mass fear in the public at large

§  Although the Frankenstein effect also comes into the mix. A careful balance between openness in the development process and maintaining patent security measures is essential.

o   Theories

§  There is a strong difference between accurate/substantial controversial theories and unsubstantial controversial theories. For example America were experts in sending man to the moon in capsules; but NASA chose to redirect from Van Braun’s solid decades in the making rocketry theories for dozens of completely unproven theories leading to the space shuttle program.

§  Electro-magnetics might be controversial and highly suspect, but they are the rules and regulations in which govern the smallest building blocks of this universe.

o   Creating the think tank

§  A think tank is a place where a group of people can gather to concentrate on one specific concept. A research lab is an example of a think tank. But unlike a research lab, a think tank has far reaching applications. A think tank has laboratories within, but it is not limited to just laboratory experiments. Some aspects of a think tank require isolation from the laboratory; to have a place to think and contemplate out as much of the picture as possible before going into the laboratory to test out the differing ideas thought of back in the thinking area. An isolated and out of the way place designed to primarily just think is needed. Ogle Castle fits that bill nicely. It is already a working B&B.

§  A think tank is a place where a group of people gather to achieve a given specific goal. That goal is usually a very complicated and layered goal.

§  A political action committee is also a think tank. Getting a politician elected is one definition of a complicated and layered goal. Getting a specific political agenda achieved i.e. gun rights, gay rights have think tanks/pac’s associated.

o   Dealing with the religion

§  “Knowledge is evil” is a very strong influence in several portions of the world. This think tank, my research, and the next leap in technology have to balance our efforts with those specific religious groups who have a luddite bent. Their rage has to be taken into account and worked with accordingly.

§  When the UK has experienced those waves or religious luddites the presence from the society is “remove the luddites.” I propose to usher in the next leap in math, science, engineering, and technology but to achieve that I need to be surrounded by a proper society willing to support my efforts. Destroying something they do not like is easier than supporting something the local religious leaders do not like. If the religious leaders are not heavily threatened; I can proceed with my research. A solid portion of this entire business plan is to thrive in areas the community can support. Every major affecting the community decision has to take into account the reaction from both the community but the religious.

o   Society

§  How the society itself will deal with the actions and products from the think tank have to be addressed.

·         The following list of reactions must be addressed on an ongoing basis; Fear, Anger, Enjoyment, “the music man”, Employment, etc.

·         Bylaws

    • Size of the board and how it will function (design like the organizational structure of the lodge)
      • 1 president CEO
      • 2 senior vice presidents
      • 1 Secretary
      • 1 Treasurer
      • 2 junior vice presidents
      • 2 senior managers
      • 1 officer in charge of external security
      • 1 officer of communications
      •
    • Roles and duties of directors and officers
      • 1 president CEO: the buck stops here.
      • 2 senior vice presidents;
        • 1 in charge of the operations of the organization xo
        • 1 in charge of coordinating the activities of the teams, communications, etc. to the board and the ceo.
      • 1 Secretary; keep track of the minutes, and information streaming in and out.
      • 1 Treasurer; chief financial officer
      • 2 junior vice presidents;
        • 1 coordination between the xo and the group
        • 1 coordination between the physical plant (teams, buildings, organizational structure) and the xo
      • 2 senior managers;
        • 1 manager of the organization itself
        • 1 manager of the teams
      • 1 officer in charge of external security;
        •
      • 1 officer of communications;
        • Someone in charge of helping to coordinate soothing communications between all parties.
      •
    • Rules and procedures for holding meetings, electing directors, and appointing officers
      • I would choose to copy the same organizational structure of FreeMasonry/Guild structure.
      •
    • Conflict of interest policies and procedures
      • I want to create a special officer position that is strictly in charge of finding out problems between any two variables of either the physical plant or coworkers and coming up with solutions.
      • In many large organizations; problems in personality and emotion do have an effect. When those problems arise, someone who’s specific job it is to monitor the happenings of all that is going on and dig into to see if its "just a bad day” or if it is something serious. (example in Masonry, not every mason likes ever other mason. Some have lifestyles and make choices which strongly get in the way of harmony. Someone to wander between everyone and keep potential problems in check.)
    • How grant monies will be distributed
      • Money and money generating
        • Fundraising
          • The full scope of this project will take billions to fully fund. A stair step process in funding is required.
          • Basics; filing the not for profit paperwork. First trip to the UK to scout and conduct meetings.
          • First needed is in the 10 million dollar range. To cover traveling expenses and the cost of Ogle Castle.
          • Second funding needed covers the costs of computers and salaries. Mainframes and those that maintain mainframe computers are not cheap.
          • Third funding purchase of laboratory space and a machine shop
          • Fund three skyscrapers for the first T Building.
          • Fund or partially fund the space greenhouse with the T Building designed closed continuity loop ecosystem.
        • Self-generating funding
          • As NASA has discovered the innovations for new projects have a gestalt number of products which create the greater whole. Each of the smaller pieces can be packaged for smaller use. Sell to other corporations, businesses, governments, and individuals.
      • List of needed physical items
        • File paperwork on the following levels; city, county, state, federal, UK, international. For an appropriate international corporation; be it profit, not for profit, or some combination of both. Depending on both products and services.
        • Physical location of at least one of the offices
          • All major technological advances require international cooperation. Or they become classified and vanish. More than one corporate office will be needed.
          • Ogle Castle, Northumberland, UK is a primary facility for a select few scientists to gather and produce theories and stream line the data coming in from the various laboratories.
          •
        • Physical location of various laboratory spaces.
          • Small laboratories on location on Ogle Castle property
          • Larger laboratories in appropriate locations; Kirkley hall, Oxford, other appropriate locations.

·         My plan for the think tank

o   Create an organizational structure equal to the task of creating the next leap in technology. Previous organizational structures were designed to be equal to the task needed to aid each layer of society to incorporate the new idea and new products into their lives.

o   Examples of corporate structures

§  Small business

§  Medium business

§  Small corporation

§  Etc.

§  Mega international corporation; this is the design the Ogle Castle think tank needs to be modeled after. A corporate structure capable of working on several multi-billion dollar projects at the same time. Ogle Castle is just one of the places to start. Each location needs to achieve specific goals; Ogle Castle has specific tasks it can accomplish.

o   By using the social structure of the feudal and guild systems combined with the team management techniques of silicone valley eg Google, Yahoo, Microsoft. Build a structure where the management can function in the business world and the thinkers can function. Both environments need to be created separately; what is good for thinking is not necessarily good for business. Each is equally important.

o   Organizational structure of the think tank

§  Area for the business

§  Area for the products and services

§  Area for the thinkers

§  Area for the laboratories.

·         Each eco system will need to as molecular close as possible match the real world eco systems. Deserts, mountains, etc. which include, pressures, humidity, time between cycles of different areas, speeds of the winds, etc.

o

·         Employee hiring guidelines

o   Each department will need to come up with what hiring guidelines work best. As was discovered when Time/Warner and AOL tried to merge; not all organizational structures can merge. Sometimes the philosophies are too diverse.

§  Create area appropriate guidelines.

·         Area for the business

·         Area for the products and services

·         Area for the thinkers

o   Thinkers managers

o   Independent thinkers

o   Teams

o

o

·         Area for the laboratories.

·

·         Time frame

o   Currently

§  Create the résumé and business plan

§  Make connections

§  Build website, update as needed. www.trwelling.org

§  Start to reach out to investors, to fund the think tank

§

o   Within three months

§  First trip to the uk to look over ogle castle

§  Start to reach out to investors, to fund the think tank

§

o   Within six months

§  Apply to Oxford (Edinburgh, St Andrews, Cambridge, etc) before the end of each respective deadline for fall 2012 classes.

§  Scout living areas around oxford

§  Purchase ogle castle

§  Start to construct the internal organizational structure:

§  Form teams; with specific tasks

·         The teams to actually build each section

·         Choosing specific scientists.

·         The teams

o   00 electromagnetic; every team has to operate from a standpoint of how does what they are doing balance with itself and everything else. Every single aspect of everything within a magnetosphere operates via a careful balance within the rules and regulations of a given magnetosphere. Creating a closed continuity loop eco system requires the utmost care and application of attention to how exactly each portion is balanced themselves and how everything else is balanced in the greater matrix.

§  Think of a magnet; push push, pull pull, neutral,

§  Think electro-magnetic rules and regulations this way. Voltage of each atom/molecule, configuration of each molecule, etc.

§  Everything has to have balance.

§  Every single aspect of what happens in a magnetosphere is layered and complicated electro-magnetics.

§  Every team will need to do their specific tasks according to the above rules of order.

o   1 the plants

§  Pathology of each species. From what created it, to when its structure will break down.

§  What eats this

§  What breaks this down

§  What molecules are needed to create this plant. Feed it, what nutrients does it give off.

§

o   2 ground

§

o   3 air

§

o   4 water

§

o   5 insects

§

o   6 animals

§

o   7 manure

§

o   8 different technology

§

o   9 pressure systems

§

o   10 out buildings

§

o   11 construction of the buildings themselves

§

o   12 computer modeling

§

o   13 networking

§

o   14 marketing

o   15 machining

o   16 legal

o   17 business interactions

o   18 governmental diplomatic teams; since I plan on putting T Building in a hundred countries each country has to be worked with.

o   19 Technologies

o   20

·

o   Within nine months

§  Full scale modeling of the theories and experiments

o   Within 12 months

§  Continued modeling.

§  Seek cooperation from other institutions

o   Within 15 months

§  Have every few months conferences

§  Draw up plans to create the buildings, Machinery

o   18 months

§

o   21 months

§

o   24 months

§  Start construction of the first T Building complex.

·         Specific details of the T Building complex

·         6 Market the design to appropriate countries

o
