The Causeways of Egypt are the pathways leading both to and from the Pryamids. Some pyramids have their own Causeway, some collections of pryamids have causeways.
The point is not the causeway, the point is that the Causeway and of course the pyramids themselves are part of a much larger thing. the Causeways are of course the ATEN which have a built in language.
