Gospel Research Biblical Work The number of factors that went
into the creation of the KJV are almost too numerous to count. They are easier to define in groups
of actions. The groups of actions are individually
complicated. The KJV did not start as soon as James
was elevated to the Throne after his cousin Elizabeth I’s death. He had been
working on it for decades. His teachers had been working on the KJV for
decades or more before James was born. Not starting with the printing of the
Gutenberg, but the Gutenberg Bible forced the issue from an academic position
into a political situation. The Prussians and the Anglicans fighting tooth and
nail over who would control the message contained in the Bible. Presently there has been about 100
versions of the bible either found/translated or created in the last bit over
a century. But non have the political power/positioning of the Gutenberg versus
the KJV. Partially because when you have more than a millennia of Dark Age
where zero bibles publicly available between the events in question up to the
mass production of the Gutenberg bible 1460. |
