It takes a monumental amount of work to erase the fixed point of said type buildings/cigties. The temple of IWNW and Heliopolis are examples of fixed points which were moved. Jacobs ladder aka the Khufu pyramid (Noah's temple) was constructed for several reasons. First it was constructed to remodel the megalith which used to sit where it sits. Second it was constructed to create a memorial to Noah. Third it was constructed to demonstrate the Legend of the Noachite from which the third son and head of the Semitic peoples are from. Fourth it was created to allow a large and stable ladder to stretch 400 foot into the air. In effect creating a place for angles to ascend and descend from heaven. To ascend and descend some type of room was needed to the very top of the pyramid. I theorize the Khufu pyramid used to have a temple on the very top. That temple and the accompanying ceremony was courtesy of Jacobs contribution to the Giza plateau. That being a ladder to and from what that cultures understanding of heaven was. Allowing angels to both ascend and descend from heaven.
