Ogle Castle

NewCastle Northumberland UK to Ogle Castle Northumberland UK is 11 Miles.

The cities in America which are named NewCastle are named for the most part in honor this city. Which in the 1600s was still under feudal rules. In the 1700s was still strongly under Royal rules of Monarchy.

One did not name a city after a city in Europe without permission of the Royal Family which up till wwi and still semi-present polite society rules now permission of the Family itself.

Which brings up how New York was renamed with John Ogle on board 1686; John Ogle had to give permission to the other Royals on board HRH ship at the battle of New Amsterdam in order to rechristen the city in honor of John Ogles direct relative the Duke of York.

York has spent most of the last 2000 years in Northumberland Royal family lands; include parts of the 1600s.

Not till the end of the 1600s and the Tudors did the boarders of Northumberland stink to present. Previously the boarders of Northumberland extended from the Mercia lands just north of northex to around Perth Scotland. Perth has been traded back and forth a thousand times in the last 2500 years between the Scots and the Ogles/British/English.

Current Ogle Castle Configuration is only a shadow of the 1600s Castle. Itself was only a shadow of its pre-Pictish conquest 780 ce version.

NewCastle to the Ogles was akin to the Castle where you keep your most solid defenses; but you keep your fine well ornamented caste well behind. For the Ogles under constant attack by enemies; they chose to create a huge castle with extreme defenses at NewCastle while keeping the Home Castle 11 miles back.

Keeping Woolsington and Kirkely Castles between NewCastle and Ogle Castle large and also well defended. To live and conduct business in relative peace; while the defenses castles were miles away.
