Week 11 dq second post

2 years ago, I was in a history of psychology class. In that class I spent 8 weeks working on the errors in the documentation (mostly propaganda) that Wundt was in Prussian at Heidelberg U studying linguistics. It took me 3 weeks of digging into as much research on him as I could get and research into the location of the key source materials.

I have been working on this for so long, it is actually rather difficult to break it down to its base elements. How to conduct research. You conduct research by tracing the actual evidence of what something is. After a while you start to build a database in yoru mind as to what patterns are culturally true and culturally fiction.

Example if you watch a news talking head and that cable news person states something which is on the extreme side of easy to prove wrong. Than you know that overall sequence of noun narrative is designed to convince the audience that x is y. “Scratch a lie, you will find a thief.” a quote from Ray Charles’ mom regarding her dealings in business in the deep south. People lie in similar ways as the culture they live in sell untruths, but the society depends on those fictions in order to function.

The foundation of Psychology is exactly that, founded based on layers and layers of fictions from the English and Prussian cultures. Those fictions carried over into the foundation of the American culture, which some large aspects of those fictions are still very very much present in todays events. Pure hard fictions are presented as if they have any foundation in reality, when there is literally no possible way they can be true.

Militarily a culture is not going to move 40 plus tons of scholastic material from one secured location 1000s of miles through the definition of unsecured travel through at least 5 separate conveyances. There is zero way to keep the contents secure. So logistics and strategy, bring 20 scholar linguistics, troops, and equipment to the captured enemy strong hold as possible to secure it in place. Then over 10 to 20 years slowly crate by crate move the tons and tons of material back home. But secure it in place first.

One of the problems which occurs instantly when dealing with culture which are based on mostly fictions as a political and religious stance is it becomes very difficult for the citizens of the culture to know the difference between the facts and evidence and the be polite and respectful. Many times generation after generation both sides begin to believe the polite and respectful aspects when their actions are the definition of from bad to as bad as they can get. But the culture is so CR and OC to believe the polite and respectful fictions that an internal problem regarding cognitive dissonance begins. Fictions become fact, because the people involved and more importantly the institution involved need the fictions to be real in order to function.

The Roman culture was completely sure that the killings in the Temple of Janus and later the Gladiatorial games were what fueled their culture. They were completely connived that if they performed the ceremony 1a violence, 1b intimacy, 2 community involvement acknowledging Janus that their military would be superior to all and their cultural influence Pax Romana would bring civilization to the globe. But the 3 acts were not the cause of the cultural supremacy, the 3 acts are a secondary thing. Having little more affect than what can be accounted for by the placebo evidence. The people involved “believed” themselves to be immortal in battle, so they performed better. Going into a situation fearful will cause problems, going into a situation confident and thinking is usually a better bet. Until the confidence becomes fiction, thinking you are better than you actually are.

That is the western culture fiction equation to find where research studies are wrong. They relay on the x is y cultural equation to find the results they want. Which creates huge problems for the field of psychology both internally the foundation is mostly fiction and externally the cultures themselves cannot deal with the facts and evidence.

The family which owned the Heidelberg U library in Ohio their land is/was 8000 feet from the Heidelberg Campus. 8000 feet is so clearly evidence of I think those two things are connected. The family which previously possessed the library from which Wundt was brought in to translate, was previously owned a couple dozen top end libraries/U’s. Edinberg, New castle, Harvard, Columbia, etc. . An enemy willing to commit genocide is not an enemy which can be negotiated with. The Munich branch of the Prussian FreiKorp have more than prove their repeat (dozens of times) jumping for joy willingness to commit genocide in order to achieve their goals. Tiffin University sits were a portion of Fort Ball used to sit. Previous to being called Tiffin U it was called German Town.

You cannot find any of this information in most any psychology textbook. Despite the facts that every noun I can back up with numerous peer review references. The problem is that researchers need to be polite and respectful of the x is y fictions the culture has accepted as fact, despite the facts do not agree.

The family arrived with their library, and were close to immediately seiged by Prussian (hessian) and their axis troops. They fought till 1850 when most of the library was finally in Prussian hands.

The Library had key details regarding the AEnied, the works of Homer, etc. which the Prussians had no problem committing genocide to obtain. Those foundation “you will do it my way” are still very much part of the foundations of psychology. Want evidence, look to B.F. Skinner, scientific torture. Which can alter nature till nature fights back. Hence uncontrollable behavior patterns.

The problem with research is questioning the authority of those in charge who cannot accept that y is not y.
