Schema of Rome

The Schema of Rome is the personality of the city of Rome.

Most if not all large cities have a certain “list of rules” from which the vast majority of the citizens of that city “agree” to live by. Some actions are ok, some actions are not, some actions are neutral.

The List of rules can be defined with obvious concepts in major cities.

LA

New York

Chicago

Miami

Denver

Seattle

London

Paris

Rome

Now the Schema of Rome has altered somewhat over the course of the last 3000 years. But then again the most basic aspect of the city the Janus schema rules and regulations is not only still very prevalent, but it is almost the core of how the city and those cities which are culturally descended from the Romans (which include most of the above listed cities). The Schema of Rome includes as its base the concepts of Memento Mori, which has in basic 3 elements.

1 some type of death/violence

2 some type of intimacy/coitus

3 some type of parade and or group celebration
