v 40 Fasces Pretorian Guard The Fasces is the bundle of sticks with
a piece of Metal sticking out which symbolizes many things. First the bundle
of sticks symbolizes the city of Pillars. A collection of cities which were conquered
and used by the Romans as a symbol of power over their City of Pillars Enemles. Which could have a connection with the “bird People”
a Greek insult for an enemy of the Greeks. Although in true there were no
such things as greeks pre the Roman Conquest of the
Aegean, the word Greek was coined and put into popular use by the Romans. The city of Pillars could be symbolic
insult for a nest high in the pillars which was inaccessible to those who
chose war over scholastic. Pretorian Guards were select specifically
trusted members of the army who guarded the Emperor.
The Emperor needed a special unit of soldiers for
body guards. Their other tasks were to be the carrier
of the Emperors City of Pillars powers. Each Fasces symbolized a specific
city of Pillars which had been conquered and its buildings dismantled and
moved to Rome to as Gene Roddenberry put it; “we will add your culture to our
own to make us better”. |
