To that information, who you are, and how the world is to create a foundation of understanding between you, the information, and the world around you. It is not about just reciting the resources you are assigned to read, it is about being able to discern what the information is and how to apply that knowledge to the world around you to benefit all involved.

In parochial school, it is a normal thing to be caught up in the “giving a book report”. Example the titanic sank on x day with a y size gash in its side, where it hit the iceberg.
