Since my first neuro class as an undergrad at UOP, this is the area of Psychology which draws me the most. I have done a lot of reading on the subject of neuron base. It is a very interesting field of explore, very much still in its infancy (The Neural Bases of Social Cognition and Story Comprehension. (2011). A huge amount of we know there are patterns in the electrical imagining but we have little idea what those patterns mean. We have in effect been forced to created “part fictional terminology” to explain what the patterns are.

How they work is not part of the studies.

For me where they miss the mark is “The 100th Monkey” Syndrome, by failing to take into account that “yes in fact there is a species” connection.

Example the song “Bruno Mars; Uptown Funk” hit the airwaves and it became not only a smash instant hit but it also took on a more mythical “you are sure that song had not been around for a long time, I think I have heard that song before”. That is a huge part of the field of neuro, but has been explored very little.
