The Tunnel is created by a combination of the Solar Wind and the Earths Electro-Magnetic Sphere Magnetosphere merging into one.

The concentric circles are in effect Adam’s Rib metaphor, creating the Tunnel of Eve. Intimacy in this case is extremely intended.
