The Wheel of the Year - Celtic Holidays Most Celtic Pagans/Polytheists/Reconstructionists/etc. celebrate seasonal events of the year as well as the cycles of the sun. These special and holy days are known in the Neo community as sabbats, but some refer to them simply as "Holy Days", or "The Festivals". Each festival holds its own special meaning as well as its own traditions. The entire cycle of these holidays is known as the "Wheel of the Year". Below is a graphical rendition of the Wheel, showing the Irish names for the Four Fire Festivals:
