1. Tarot Translation Nordic Germanic Elder Runic Futhark Tarot Welling Tarot This deck is unique in
that it is designed to use in doing readings for yourself as well as others This tarot deck is designed
around the concepts of the Ancient Nordic Futhark, and is made up the Major
Arcana and a Minor Arcana of 5 suits. Each suit has a major lesson to
impart. The lessons of Swords
pertain to finding your talents and beginnings of projects or goals. Every project has its start somewhere way
back in a long line of events which lead to a need to build something
specific. Knowing this we can then
take what is known, reorganize it in a specific way so you can learn to
approach life and the way you work with the individual talents you have. The suit of Swords teaches you to start
from scratch, to relearn everything before continuing. Wands teach how to
apply your new insights and knowledge.
After you have finished each lesson, having found new things about
yourself and identified different talents, you need to begin to work those
new found talents into usable skills. The suit of Tri
explores your true path and how to apply it to your life. The first four cards of this suit deals
with the search for your true path in life.
The second four will be discussed after Pentacles. The first part of Tri helps you to learn
to apply yourself in a way that will best help you, the community, and the
society in which you live. Pentacles aids you in
determining the proper application of talents, skills, and to refine your
abilities in pursuit of your true path. The second half of Tri
deals with the application of the information you know and the lessons you
have learned. The suit of Cups teaches
you how best to follow you heart or soul in pursuit of your true path. This is where you
truly learn to determine who you are, as well as how to best apply all the
lessons and knowledge you have acquired. Each of the eight
steps within each suit, represented by the cards, form the information
necessary to construct the framework needed to bring your projects and goals
to life. The Colors There are 9 colors
this deck uses to emphasize the energy attributes needed to symbolize the
lesson. Attribute Element Suits Red Strength Fire Swords Orange Spirit Water/Air Major Arcana Yellow Communication Air No Application Green Growth Earth Wands Blue Emotions Water Cups Violet / Purple Knowledge Earth/Fire Pentacles Tan / Gold Creation Energy Feminine Tri
Feminine Grey / Silver Application Energy Masculine Tri
Masculine The suits Cups, emotion, The suite of cups represents
the element of water and where everything comes from. All thought, ideas,
concepts, feelings, life, creations, all come from water. Swords, action, To do something with
what came from the water of creation one must look to the application of strength to apply that which has been
created. Only through the application
of action can action take the
creation and make that creation a reality Wands, skill, Wands is where
intelligence, understanding, wisdom, and experience come into the fray. In order to take that
which has been created and some action put to it there needs to be a application of skill
understanding, wisdom, and trial and error experience added to the creation to mold that creation
into a workable in the current environment you the creator find your
inspiration. Tri, fate, Tri is the unknown
understanding and blind direction of the universe. To take that which has come from the watery
depths of creation and formed into something tangible over time. Tri is all about the time between the
action of the day and the dormant of the night. The time between the winter fallow and the
summer action. Tri is a time to take
into account that which is direction of the unknown and add that information
into the creation mix. Pentacles, ability, Taking all the
previous steps, and through your own self understanding of what you want this
creation to do be set forth to do and accomplish you then mix all that has
been presented to you and guide that thought into reality. The ace – 8 Ace: where all begins.
What are the priorities of what has been 2: strength of what
has been created needs to be applied. Fuel to the creative fires of the world 3: what are the
boundaries of what this thing actually is a thought, a dream, and an emotion,
what truly is what has come from the depths of the soul. What are its boundaries, what does this
intend to do, and what will it do to the world already. 4: searching into the
world around to see what it is and how the it fits into the already 5: the journey to
accomplish what was established in the priorities 6: the wisdom to apply
itself correctly 7: connection with the
world fitting into the world around, 8: fitting into its
own little world of life. Major Arcana The major arcana is designed
around the concept of the lessons of the earliest Futhark translation I can
find. I initially found the
translations when I looked at the calendar and knew that the Futhark was
based on the seasons of the world.
Adjusting back 14 days to account for the time between the creation of
the Julian calendar and the adaptation of the runic half month calendar into
the Julian, it took 300 years, so the .25 day over 300 years added up to
around 14 days. So I adjusted back my
time table, and proceeded with applying that which was an unknown
understanding of the Futhark before to a totally understandable form of the
runes now. They are mirrors of what is
happening in the world around you. Fehu Tower, beginnings Uruz strength
