I would like to remind my readers that this is an under construction site. I am adding material on a constant basis each page, each branch sometimes goes months with out, and sometimes each branch gets new and updated information on a daily basis. So please be patient my research is ongoing, and I find new and interesting things on almost a daily basis. Keep checking back; see the last updated on the index page. Any and all questions please do not hesitate to go to the yahoo groups listed below join and ask any question you like. Your input has helped shape the way I present the information, and helps me to be more definite with issues in showing my work. |

Symbolic language layout patterns When I first encountered the runes, the first thing that struck me was that to read them, you had to have a layout pattern. Well a number of things from that first sentence struck me as really odd.
Now from this base, I learned all that I could about the Futhark and the runes. After some serious initial force as to which direction I was going to go with my learning about the runes; I was first told that if I did not accept the dogma of one of several organizations I was not going to be able to go anywhere or do anything with respect in the rune community. The second thing that was drummed into my head was that the Edda was the only answer, period end of story. There literally was no other way to go with the runes than to read and memorize the Edda. Being a natural born independent, if everyone is going in one direction I will automatically go in the other just to see what everyone else is missing. So then I was finally given some advice as to my education in the runes that was appropriate and correct. Allow yourself, the runes, and history to teach you the proper use for yourself the runes. Well this advice I can deal with. So my journey begins, first I have to learn the layout patterns. I begin with the same layout pattern everyone else knows
Now for those out there that come from a tradition base, I know that each tradition has their numbers set slightly different, but this is what not only was I comfortable with, but this also makes a very nice math model. As well as a language model. As in this actually tells a story of something. Instead of using random characters in an Electro-Magnetic pattern recognition filter. This can be used to tell a very specific story about any one or any thing. Of course this begin the absolute complete and totally basic layout pattern. This is extremely limited in what it can actually not only do but how it can operate. Each placement in the symbolic language format has its own specific identification holder. And depending on the layout pattern this one being super simplistic, the 11 places are the sentence structure and some of the grammar. |
