There are privacy and codes of conduct which do not allow teachers to dress down students in such manner. The focus needs to be on reassuring the other students said cyber intimacy violations will not occur again. It is actually against the academic code of conduct to infringe on the rights and privacy of a student. These are very difficult positions for all involved. Hence my suggestion need to work on reassuring the other students said actions will not occur again.
