week 5 dq teaching

Trying to decide how to write this, the writing in this article was interesting to say the absolute least.

The word interesting is not meant as a compliment.

Community of Practice (COP) is a study specific to the journey of a couple students in their PhD program. This study is in part about tracing the path from being just a student to turning into a professional scholar in a given field of science. Although the transition is actually different than is described. But that is personal experience.

The program it seams is based on trying to provide aid and assistance to student in the degree process. 3 students who are in the program, one new to the program, and one post grad in this study. This study was attempting to find out how the following concepts apply the journey identity,  Struggle, refining identity, validating of scholarly applications, liminality, and transformational study parameters.

The study was presented as a way to find out if it were possible to find out the working tools inside this qualitative aspects of how do the students work and achieve goals. How do they build experiences, assimilations, and empowerment (Coffman et al., 2016).
