week 2 dq 2

Upon working on the paper, I am reminded that for many schools and classrooms the teachers use us students as pawns in their experiments.

In my last grad school, I think the thing which offended the head of the department the most was that I knew he was using his classrooms as a Skinner box and was spending just as much time studying us as he was teaching us the subject. His rage towards me was that I am in the percentage of students who do not act like everyone else. For one I know when I am a test subject, two I am also aware of the facts that depending on which institution gives this example out. Some have used it as a Skinner box itself. Exactly how will this group of students react to this specific unethical situation. What groupings will each of the participants go into. Will they defend the fictional person, will they try to help him, will they try and not react or absolutely minimally, will they in effect toss him under the bus to help the other students, etc.

Watching the reactions is a admin and teacher test case for a future paper on future teachers reactions. I hope Walden is not performing said test, but I know past schools that did.
