week 6 dq teacher

My bachelors is from UOP, every class we had both individual assignments and team assignments.

Working on teams especially online is not easy at all. However, it does require “special efforts”, which is exactly what I was talking about. The social skills needed to interact face to face are for the most part very different from the social skills needed for the online environment. To point those differences out and to clarify them, learn and expand those different behavior equations is what I was talking about.

Example: asking a question

How would you propose homework and student interaction in an actual classroom?

How would you propose the same in an online class.

Separate out the differences then classify why each one is different. Be specific about the how they are different and how to teach through those differences.

Example; in a face to face it is very difficult to “hide” facial expressions, and small approval/disapproval sounds.

Online a student or teacher can have a full-on emotional response, with the audience having no idea existed. Then censor to write something appropriate. That is something which needs to be addressed, since it will affect the future classroom dynamics. Just because the other person is ignorant of the sentences does not mean the emotions do not exist. Those emotions can and likely will affect future interactions. Those altered interactions cause and cascade into a larger classroom and possibly future classroom experiences.
